Anti-Ligature Vertical Blinds
A vertical-blind system rebuilt for mental-health environments. The traditional bottom chain that links louvre weights — a known ligature risk — is removed entirely; each louvre instead carries a sealed internal weight that keeps it hanging straight without any chain. The headrail is held in place by load-release magnetic brackets so the entire assembly can drop free if a defined load is applied. Tilt and traverse are controlled by a fully enclosed mechanism with no exposed cords, and the louvre fabric is specified to tear above a set load. The result is a daylight-control and privacy solution suitable for inpatient bedrooms, day rooms and consulting rooms where conventional verticals would not be acceptable.
