Frameless Glass Balustrade — Base Shoe
Glass Balustrades & Handrails — A frameless balustrade system in which structural glass is held by a continuous extruded aluminium base shoe. The shoe is anchored to the slab edge or fascia with engineered fixings, and the glass is locked into the channel with side-pressure wedges that allow accurate plumb adjustment after installation. With no posts, no top frame and no visible clamps, the system delivers an architectural sightline ideal for terraces, mezzanines and atria. A bonded handrail or capping profile is optional. Glass is laminated heat-strengthened or toughened, sized to project loading per SBC 201 and ASTM E985.
