Post-Supported Balustrade with Glass Infill
Glass Balustrades & Handrails — A post-supported balustrade combining the structural redundancy of a continuous top handrail with the visual lightness of a glass infill. Posts are anchored top-fix or side-fix at typical 1200–1500 mm centres, the top rail is bolted across the post tops, and toughened glass panels are held by glass clamps at four points per panel. The system meets the most stringent code requirements while giving the architect a clear, contemporary aesthetic. Suitable for back-of-house stairs as well as front-of-house feature areas.
