Dock Bumper
Loading bays take a continuous beating from reversing trucks, and dock bumpers are the sacrificial layer between the trailer and the building structure. The moulded D-section and square-section profiles are ideal for new bays, while the laminated dock bumper — built from layered rubber pads compressed onto a steel back — handles the heaviest commercial vehicle traffic in distribution centres and ports. Each bumper is supplied pre-drilled to the customer's hole pattern so the unit goes straight onto the dock face and can be replaced individually when worn. Mounted vertically or horizontally, the bumpers protect the wall, the dock-leveller assembly and the trailer itself from the kind of repeated low-speed impact that quickly damages bare concrete edges.
