Rubber Speed Hump
An extruded rubber speed hump system that bolts together in alternating black and yellow segments, with end pieces that ramp the hump down at each side of the lane. The high-visibility colour scheme and embedded glass reflectors make the hump obvious to drivers in all light conditions, while the rubber compound flexes slightly under impact instead of cracking the way cast-in concrete humps do. Each segment is anchored directly to the existing surface, so the hump can be installed in a single shift, relocated when the traffic layout changes and replaced piece by piece if any segment is damaged. Standard heights are matched to typical car-park crawl speeds.
