Photoluminescent Tactile Indicator
Tactile Ground Surface Indicators — A specialised tactile indicator that combines normal hazard-warning function with photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) inserts. The photoluminescent strips charge under ambient light and emit visible light for several hours after a power loss, marking stair edges, platform boundaries and egress paths even in complete darkness. Used at the top and bottom of escape stairs, on metro platforms, in tunnels and in any building where life-safety codes require lighted egress wayfinding without continuous power. Compatible with stainless and polyurethane carriers.
