Stainless-Steel Tactile Warning Stud
Tactile Ground Surface Indicators — A premium tactile warning indicator formed of individually placed 316 stainless-steel domed studs. Studs are drilled into the substrate at the engineered grid spacing and bonded with epoxy resin to create a permanent, slip-resistant pattern that visually-impaired pedestrians detect underfoot and through a long cane. The warning pattern is used at the top of stair flights, the edge of train and metro platforms, the boundary of pedestrian crossings, and the approach to escalators. Stainless steel resists corrosion in outdoor and water-exposed locations and offers the long service life expected on transport infrastructure.
